Pokémon of the Month: Deoxys In this NetZine we are featuring Deoxys! Deoxys has 4 formes: Normal, Attack, Defense, and Speed. Each forme boosts certain stats and lowers others. It is up to you to decide which one will work best for your strategy.

Normal Forme -- Normal forme is pretty
well rounded compared to the others even though it's HP, Defense, and Sp.Def
are all 50.

Attack -- Your best bet
here is to hit fast and hard before your opponent can touch you. If you were
in a double battle, you could try to get a tank-like partner with the move
"follow me" so they'll take
the hits while your Deoxys can attack.

Speed - 150
Moves to consider // Attack Form:
Psychic - with a base power of 90 plus a STAB bonus, this would be
a nice move to have.

Defense -- Although the HP is the same as the other forms, this guy can make
a decent tank. Just watch out for Bug, Dark, and Ghost types.

Moves to consider // Defense Form:
Safeguard - this might be nice to protect against opponents who try
to take you out slowly with poisoning or burn.
Trick Room - might be nice if you want to throw off an opponent who
heavily relies on their speed.

Speed -- With the highest speed base stat, you should be confident about attacking
first.
