If you are offended then dont read or you happen to know this shipping and u happen to like another pairing then dont read or give bad replys. well this is my first time posting a fanfic. i think its not that great."

Chapter 1 - Thinking

It was a late afternoon it was about 5:00pm. The boy with a jacket that has a yellow stripe, a hat, baggy pants, and a Pikachu on his right shoulder was sitting behind a tree on a green hill. It looked like it was not yet dark. There was a good sun coming down watching across from the lake, it was like it was not even late. Ash had this big thought about May leaving. He was thinking if it was a good idea for May to leave to Johto.

Ash had this very weird feeling he has never had before. He was very concerned about May. He missed her so much. After taking a deep breath, he sighed. “Pika pi, pikachu.’’ Ash looked at Pikachu and made a small smile at him. ‘‘I should have told May not to leave and travel with us still. It was a big mistake to have another girl travel with us.’’ Ash got up as the sun was already down and pet Pikachu on the head. ‘‘Come on lets go.’’ Still leaving himself concerned as he left.

The girl with long beautiful blue hair was fixing her hair as always. While she was doing that she looked back at her ribbon her mother gave her. She sighed, and said, ‘‘I want to be successful like my mom has.’’ After from winning four ribbons. She has wondered if she is going to make it or not to the finals and be a top coordinator. Dawn was worried more then ever. She looked at Piplup and said, ‘‘Piplup we have to work harder so we can be on top!’’ Piplup looked at dawn with a big positive smile. They both felt confident to win more contests.

The Pokemon Breeder Brock. Was happy and fed his Pokemon food and prepared dinner for the night. He looked into the stars, and seen Nurse Joy. “Man I hope I get myself a girl!’’ Hearts were in his eyes as usual. He had a quick thought about how long he has traveled with Ash. ‘‘I hope Ash has matured since our first journey to the one right now.” Brock has always thought how long this would last to travel all around the world with ash.

Ash got back to camp just before it was very dark out. In his mind all he had to think about was May. Everyday his thoughts about her has grew so much more. He looked back at the Terracotta Ribbon that was halved. He always kept it in his pocket and has never let go of it. Without the other half its not the same. He was thinking to himself it would be a incomplete heart that’s been halved. Like the two have been separated at each other from a long distance.

Brock seen Ash just sitting there on a log where the campfire was in the middle. Brock seen Ash looking straight at the ground with a long face. Brock thought to himself, “hmmm could it be someone he misses?” Brock walked forward to Ash and said, “is there something wrong?” Ash looked up and seen Brock with a concern look. ‘‘Well, its just I have this strange feeling, but I really don’t know what it means. I been thinking about May a lot these passed days.’’ Brock looked at ash with a grin. Brock said, ‘‘Ash you are in love for the first time. Finally you have matured enough to like a girl this time.’’ Ash’s face grew red a little bit. ‘‘Its fine Ash. This is normal. Everyone has to like someone someday, but lets keep this a secret you don’t want anyone to know about this.” Ash said, yeah I know that. I really want to see May again.’’ “Well ash you should have told May not to leave, but why didn’t you?” ‘‘I thought it was the right thing to do. I thought if May went on her own and went to Johto she would get better on her contests.” Brock said, “I see.”

Dawn came and interrupted the conversation and said, ‘‘hey guys what are you guys talking about?’’ Brock with a weird face. “Oh nothing important. We should set up our sleeping bags and put out the fire the time is 10:00pm. I think its very late. We got to wake up to get to sunyshore city.” Dawn with a suspicious look. “Well ok then I guess we go to sleep now.” As Dawn sets up her sleeping bag and lays it on the ground she begins to sleep and says, “night guys.” Brock whispers to Ash. “I got your cover.” winking at ash. Ash looks at Brock with a grin. “Yeah thanks I guess” Brock and Ash put out the fire and set up their beds. Ash takes off his hat and puts it in his bag. He lays down in his sleeping bag and still leaves himself thinking. He looks at the moon and the stars. Ash took a deep breath and said, “I wish you were here.” Ash slowly closes his eyes and falls asleep.

Chapter 2 - A Dream Not Wanted To Be Dreamed Of

It was a late night. It was a big fright. As Ash was sleeping during the night, it was almost morning by then. He had another strange feeling when he was dreaming. Clutching up his knuckles and sweating through his sleep. He later felt a little bit better when he saw a familiar figure and face. It looked like an hour glass figure in a shadow in his dream. He felt a little better when seeing it. It stopped him from being worried. As it got closer to him, he finally recognized it. It was a happy young girl that always gave him a really sweet feeling inside of him all the time. Every time he was always with her.

It was May that he has seen. She was calling his name to him in a sweet voice that was echoing through a dark blank dimension. In the back round. It showed all doors floating up and down. Ash was sitting in the middle of the darkness. There was no light, but him and the girl he has always loved. As ash got up, stairs popped in front of his face. It showed him where to go. At each step at a time another stair case came up. Finally when he reached the top, he saw a green door. Ash felt very scared to open it. As his hands were sweating from pressure.

He touched the door and drifted his right hand from the door knob to open it. He then seen a flashback. It was May and Ash holding hands when they were about say good bye to each other when they last met each other in the Wallace cup. May’s beautiful sapphire blue eyes were shining in the sun, it was dawn. The ocean was orange from the suns reflection. Ash remembered when he was holding her hand in a sign of passion to wish themselves good luck, he remembered that his feelings grew stronger for her. Ever since he realized how much they been through all their adventures back at the Hoenn region. He fell in love with her for the first time. When he touched her hand in a different feeling.

The door shut loud in his dream. It pushed him into the darkness. This time he was in a different location. It was a grassy plain with flowers. All the way back. May was standing right in front of Ash. Ash ran as fast as he could just to get to her. With a lot of panting he made it.

As Ash went to talk to her. Her eyes were glimmering. “May wait there is something I want to tell you!” May replied, “yes ash.” Ash said in a very shy deep voice, “May I… love you.” May was blushing really red. Her eyes started to fill up in tears. She tried to hold them back. “Ash I am very sorry, but… I love… Drew.” Ash’s eyes grew wide and he was in shock. Its like the Ribbon he has been holding felt nothing to him anymore. It shattered into pieces.

May vanished and everything that was there was gone. Ash was left in the darkness alone in the dark. All there was left was just a dim spotlight shining on him. He then recognized a voice. It was filled with laughter and evil. A big face appeared in the blank space way up. It was a young boy that was into contest battling. He had a purple jacket, a black shirt in the middle, green eyes, and his hair was also green. It was Drew the young male coordinator. He was holding a rose on his hand. Drew said, “haha May belongs with me now, so don’t you dare approach her.”

Another figure popped up in the blank dark space. It was May. She was filled with tears and she was crying. “Ash! I’m sorry.’’ May yelled in fear. ‘‘May don’t go!! I love you!’’ As Ash yelled very loud in his dream. Drew said, ‘‘its to late for that now. Laughing like a demon. Ash’s dream melted like wax. He thought his life was over and his achievements he did in life all blew away.

Ash yelled with Fear. And woke up from his horrible nightmare. He kept on taking deep breaths in and out very fast. It was early. Everyone was awake. Ash stood up no one was around. Even Pikachu was gone. All he did was sat back down. He felt more worried then anything in his life. He searched through his pockets and found his shining halved Ribbon. He held it close to his hand and squeezed it. Wishing that the dream he had last night never was. Ash put back his hat on and walked around to calm himself down. Wishing to find his friends Brock and Dawn.

Chapter 3 - Maple’s Day

A Sunny day outside. Like a Groudon’s move that has been used. Every bird out in the wilderness were flying through the sky in the Johto region. Everything was peace and quiet like a Lugia soaring through the winds. The sun was out early in the day. All Cherrims all bloomed during the day.

In the Pokemon Center. The girl with sapphire eyes, beautiful brown hair, and a nice body. Woke up just now when sleeping in one of the rooms in the center. As she got up. She went to fix her hair and put on her green bandanna. She got dressed and had a weird feeling. Not just weird, like bad weird. She was thinking about the past of how she got really close to winning in the grand festival for the second try. She always knew that she did not do it all by herself, by the help of her wonderful friends in her travels.

She was having a losing streak again. When she started to do everything on her own. She did not have the same feeling like, when she was battling months ago back in the Heonn region. She thought to herself, “why do I feel like part of my life there is something missing.” She thought of it and had the idea why. Her eyes started to water as she knew about the situation she had those past days about losing a couple of her matches. She realized that, she misses Ash. She thought to herself, “oh I’m so stupid. I just had to do everything by myself. I would have done so much more with Ash if I was with him in the Sinnoh region. But now I can’t, he’s with Dawn. I’m afraid that Ash may get a liking to her and start to have a thing with her.” She wiped her tears that were dropping slowly down her cheeks. She went to the bathroom and put cold water on her eyes to calm her eyes that were turning red with a lot of tears. She Grabbed her poke balls and trained her pokemon outside of the center.

She called out her Glaceon and yelled out, “use shadow ball then ice beam.” The ice beam cut through the shadow ball and made a light explosion. It made a good smoke with shining snow flakes that were up in the clouds of the shadow balls. She was thinking that this would be good on her next appeal on her contest to make it on round two.

A mysterious Figure was walking straight forward to May. From far away it was all covered in shadows when that person was walking through the trees in the dark shade. A green pokemon popped out of the shadow first. It had two roses on its hands that were blue and green. It was a Roserade. Then a boy with green hair, green eyes, purple jacket, and a shirt in the middle. Appeared out of the shadows of the trees and began to speak to May. Drew the conceited snob said, “hey May how’s the training?” He threw a rose on her face and May caught it. May said, “oh its all good….” Drew flicked his hair with a big smile and said,
“I hope that rose made you feel better through the losses you had those other matches.” May with a depressed face said, “yeah.. Well I guess on another contest battle I will do better this time.” Drew said, “well catch ya later. I got some serious training to do on the next contest coming up.” As he walked away and waved his hands the same way he did when he first met her.

May sighed while petting Glaceon. “I love roses, but I can't keep them forever. They keep on dieing.” Glaceon purred like a cat. May with a smile. She said, “You helped me through my contest battling through the past especially way back in the Sinnoh region where I faced Dawn. Even though I lost against her.” She sighed as she said that when she remembered that she lost to her. Glaceon purred more. As she mentioned Dawn to herself, she almost forgot something that she has always had with her like a good luck charm. She pulled it out of her fanny pack and raised it up in front of the sun. The halved Terracotta Ribbon was shining really bright. May with a smile appearing slowly on her face. She held it against her chest. And squeezed the ribbon in her hands. She missed the same old optimistic Ash. His voice was echoing in her mind. The words she has always heard from him and missed. 'You can do it May. Just work harder and you will be sure to win next time.' That’s what she heard in her thoughts. As she remembered him saying that. She missed him even more then before. She wanted a hug from Ash at least. With a calm beautiful voice she said, “I wish you were here….” She looks up in the sun and all she sees is Ash.

Chapter 4 - Same Lame Thing!

Route 214 the raven haired boy began to feel very worried about his dream he had last night through his thinking troubles. He was thinking to himself, ‘‘I wonder where are those guys? I hope they did not go without me.’’ As he walked through the woods and the grassy plain. He saw a mysterious almost invisible figure. It was a pokemon, but he did not know what it was. It was floating with 2 glowing tails on behind its back. It vanished as Ash’s eyes blinked right when he seen it.

The wind was furious and the trees were dropping leaves. Ash just found out he was near Valor Lakefront. He was surprised as he passed the lake with its enormous big amount of space in the middle of the lake. He knew that it must be one of the three fairy legends home. The sun that was shining on the lake reminded him of May’s sapphire eyes. He would really want to see her eyes again.

Up in a tree were two people and a cat like pokemon were spying on him. It was team Rocket. Meowth said, “Hey it’s the twerp, but where are all the other twerps at and pikachu.” James, “Who cares we can try to hold him as hostage and try to make him give us his pokemon he currently has.” Jesse smacks James and Meowth on the face. “Would you guys keep it down! You don’t want him to spot us In this tree do you?” Meowth and James cry.

Ash said to himself, “Hmm if I went back where I woke up would they come back?” Ash runs back where he woke up. Turns out he found them. Brock said, “Hey Ash we were about to look for you. Are you ok?” Ash, “Yeah I’m fine I just overslept.’’ Brock smirks and says, “ok Ash.” Dawn with a annoying voice, “Can we go now before it gets late?” Brock, ''Oh yeah lets get moving.” Dawn was walking in front of them, like she was rushing to get to her next contest battle. Ash, “What’s up with her?” Brock, “I don’t know.”

As Dawn got way ahead of them she fell in a pit. She yelled out, “What the hell is going on!” Three figures came out. “Prepare to f-” “Oh god team Rocket what do you guys want this time. You guys never learn. Always trying to steal my pikachu.” Ash said. James, “What! Let us finish our motto you stupid kid!” Ash with a big yawn. “We already know your whole motto. You guys are the most lame and useless team I have ever seen. Pikachu use thunderbolt.” It strikes and sends them flying in the sky. Team Rocket, “Why do we always fail at life to capture pikachu!”

Brock said, “That was easy just one thunderbolt and boom they are flying as usual.” Dawn, “Hey guys you forgot about me. Get me out of here now!” Brock says, “Grab my hand.’’ She grabs it and got out. Ash, “Lets go before they come back and be annoying as always.” They all continued on walking through Route 214. “Its time to get my last badge!” Ash said.

The sun was coming down. A mysterious stranger came to the group. “Stop right there!” The group in shock. Leaving them speechless as they seen the figure. A big tough pokemon was in the way with its trainer. Sharp claws, brown, and a horrifying growl.

Chapter 5 - A Moment Like This!

The serious Trainer smirked and has his hair over his eyes. He stared at Ash and said, “Wow your pathetic. You guys just started to go all the way to Sunyshore city, how sad. And I thought the pokemon you guys train were lame.” He took out his Poke ball and threw it at the dark center of the big wide open space where the dark clouds were all gathering in the sky making an almost Omunious Wind pushing everything in its way like a tornado.

“Paul! What are you doing here so late?” Dawn yelled. Paul said in a angry voice, “Ah what’s it to you. You don’t know mud bomb about battling. I think contest battling are just some cheap knock offs that show off there Pokemon and can’t make it to the Pokemon League.” Dawn in a angry voice, “Well excuse me! Coordinators happen to work their ass off to get all the move set combinations to make it to the second round! Its way more different then just battling, you have to battle in style to win!” Paul closing his eyes for a few seconds and said, “Whatever and don’t you go in my way. And what the hell is your name anyways?” “The names Dawn.! D-A-W-N, that’s how you spell it and say it. Get the name straight and remember it!” Paul, “What? Sorry don’t remember, but your wasting you time.” Dawn raises her fist. Trying to hit Paul in the face when she fails to, while Brock and Ash hold her from doing so.

Paul looking at his target always when he sees this group. “Ash you pathetic bug! Come here and battle me now! It will be a 2 on 2 match no substitutions. Battle me now or if you don’t, then your nothing but a coward.” Ash closing his hand into a fist in anger and says, “Fine I will prove to you that making your Pokemon by training them will make them stronger.’’ Brock, “Ok I will set this up then.” Paul takes out one Poke ball and throws it. “Honchkrow standby for battle!” He yelled. Ash throws his Poke ball and says, “Staraptor I choose you!”

Paul, “Use aerial ace!” Ash, “Use aerial ace as well too!” Both Pokemon made a huge close collide to each other and kept on pushing forward to see who would fall over and win the sword fight. Paul, “Flap your wings faster and charge more!” He yelled. Ash, “Give it all you got!” A big flash blew in the sky and there was a huge flash that blinded the trainers. Honchkrow and Staraptor flew away from each other and got tired from all that pushing. Paul, “Use shadow ball!” Ash, “Dodge it and use aerial ace once again!” It flew like a jet and hit Honchkrow leaving it vulnerable, while it just threw a shadow ball at it. Ash, “Now use close combat now!” Both Pokemon were fighting in a stance like fighters that kept on throwing punches at each other.

While this was happening in the battle. Paul yelled, “Use dark pulse to push it back. Into your advantage!” It pushed Staraptor far to the sky. Ash, “Focus your mind, get your wings straight and shake it out. Use aerial ace and charge your speed to the max and push far!” Paul, “You too and use aerial ace.” Both Pokemon once again collide and keep holding on in the sky. Both struggle and keep pushing harder and harder. All of a sudden once again, another big explosion happens in a big flash. Everyone is blinded by the light. Ash and Paul put their arms on their faces to block the dangerous flash that will blind them. Ash, “Staraptor you can do it! Keep fighting.” Paul closes his eyes and thinks about it, if his Honchkrow is worth being in his team. Paul, “Pathetic work. Is that all you can do?” Both Pokemon Bounce and fall on the ground. Leaving them with severe bruises and torn off wings. Ash said, “Come on get up!” Paul stands and says nothing. Who will win this round?
